  • TARGETED TO: External community of USTA who wish to develop communicative skills in Spanish.

 


 

GENERAL PROPOSAL

  • The Spanish for foreigners program “Lengua y Cultura ELE” is an academic proposal oriented to develop in the students communicative and social skills from an intercultural perspective from the cultural knowledge of our Hispanic American culture and especially in our Colombian context.
  • For this purpose of language learning, a virtual teaching methodology is chosen in synchronous mode that allows the development of language activities (interaction and written oral production) from a collaborative and participatory learning, strengthening teamwork, leadership and autonomy. In the same way, such activities will allow the student to develop a problem- based learning facilitating their performance effectively facing problems and situations in their daily lives.
  • The implementation will be carried out with the support of the International Relations Department of the University, who will be in charge of implementing a marketing and communication plan, as well as the logistics of international student’s admission to the program, thus strengthening the inter-institutional agreements and therefore the visibility indicators of the university.

  • To offer an innovative and competitive ELE Spanish program, allowing USTA to be visible in the external community.

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  • Disseminate the offer of languages offered by the International Center for Foreign Languages and Cultures through the positioning of Spanish as a foreign language program.
  • Promote programs to encourage internationalization activities with other national and international institutions.
  • Strengthen relations with the sectional offices through proposals of common interest at the national level.
  • Broaden the offer of Spanish courses currently available at USTA (in the internal community) to the external community through agreements and alliances
